Profile

Gunslinger Films was established in 2009 to serve as an in-house production company to the Revolver Group. The company set out to launch and promote rising talent and to make distinctive feature films that are commercially viable.

Having achieved these objectives Gunslinger is now ideally placed to take the next step in its development, with a view to increasing production values, reaching wider audiences and building on the successful partnership with its parent company – in itself a multi-award winning UK 'All Rights' distributor.

In 2011 this foundation was strengthened with the creation of Revolver RDT Film Partners, to provide equity funding in order to finance future productions. In addition, a partnership was formed with LA based IM Global, one of the leading film financing, production, sales and distribution companies, who now handle international sales across a number of Gunslinger films.

Offender

Tommy is a hard working young man who intentionally gets himself incarcerated into prison to exact revenge on the gang of youths who attacked his girlfriend. He finds himself in the worst hellhole he could've imagined, and must fight for his life, his sanity, against corruption, and ultimately to the death to protect the life of his loved one. His journey climaxes to unimaginable consequences.

Tackling themes of youth justice, young offenders, and the very institutes themselves – not seen in cinemas since Alan Clarke's seminal SCUM of 1979 – Offender is a brave and visceral thriller, made with real ex–offenders for total authenticity, and featuring intense rising–star Joe Cole and the explosive grime musician English Frank, set against a backdrop of fresh and breaking new music talent. Co-starring Kimberley Nixon, G-FrSH, Scorcher, and Shaun Dooley.
